Visualizing time-accurate details of moving components in the pump allowed Finnish Thompson engineers to change the design in directions that were not obvious without the insight of CFdesign. Being able to see the details of real rotating flow through their new pump design, Finnish Thompson engineers were able to quickly optimize the pump for the target operating points.
