Blue Ridge Promotes/Expands Sales Leadership Team
O’Shea, Cregg, Stamm and George integral to company’s leadership position in upfront CFD market
Blue Ridge Numerics, a leader in upfront computational fluid dynamics, has promoted four team members integral to the company’s success: Kevin O’Shea,
Martin Cregg ,
Ryan Stamm and
Tim George.
Kevin O'Shea
O’Shea, previously vice president of North American sales, adds
Europe to his responsibilities in his new position. A veteran of software companies such as Rasna and Altair Engineering, he was the first salesperson hired by Blue Ridge Numerics, joining the company in January 1999. O’Shea’s impact was immediate and decisive.
“From the moment he came onboard Kevin fired us up with his energy, enthusiasm, discipline and passion,” says

Blue Ridge president. “He steered us through two major transitions, first generating the major sales that put us on the map, then providing the leadership that enabled us to attract and retain great sales talent.”
Cregg, Stamm and George are examples of the talented people that have flourished under O’Shea.
Martin Cregg
Cregg, the newly appointed European sales director, came to
Blue Ridge after nearly 20 years at nCode, where he led the company’s North American expansion. He was previously director of the Great Lakes region for
Blue Ridge .
“Martin came to us with great humility, energy and a willingness to help those around him get better,” says O’Shea. “After spearheading rapid growth in the
Great Lakes area, he is well-positioned to help us with aggressive expansion in European markets.”
Ryan Stamm
Stamm has been promoted from Southeast U.S. sales director to director of
Eastern U.S. operations. He has more than 12 years of experience in CAD/CAM/CAE, and has been instrumental in
Blue Ridge ’s growth in the Southeast over the past four years.
“Ryan loves the process of selling, working with customers, and rolling up his sleeves and getting in the field,” says O’Shea. “He is surrounded by a great team, and he will bring out the best in them every day.”
Tim George
George has been promoted from West Coast sales director to director of
Western U.S. operations. He is a former captain in the U.S. Marine Corps and in his five years with Blue Ridge has been the cornerstone to
Blue Ridge ’s increasing penetration in the Western market.
“Tim knows what it’s like to lead from the front and lead by example,” says O’Shea. “He cares deeply about this company and the people on his team. He’ll continue to be a galvanizing force for our expansion in the West.”
While O’Shea, Cregg, Stamm and George come from distinctly different backgrounds, they are united by a couple common attributes, according to
Ed Williams .
“They love their work and give it their absolute best day in and day out. Some people manage; these guys lead.”
