Blue Ridge Numerics Named to Deloitte’s Fast 50 for Fourth Consecutive Year
For the fourth consecutive year Blue Ridge Numerics, Inc. has been named to Deloitte’s prestigious Technology Fast 50 Program for Virginia, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the area by Deloitte & Touche LLP, one of the nation’s leading professional services organizations.
On this year’s list Blue Ridge Numerics ranks #33 based on percentage revenue growth over five years from 2001 to 2005.
“Our sustained triple digit growth is a testament to our fantastic team of employees and partners,” stated Blue Ridge president Ed Williams. “For all of our success there are several hundred thousand mechanical and electronics engineers around the world still without access to an intuitive tool for developing fluid flow and heat transfer solutions during early-stage product development. Our business still has much growing to do.”
To be considered, Technology Fast 50 entrants must: have operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2001 and at least $5,000,000 in 2005; be headquartered in Virginia; own proprietary technology or proprietary intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of its operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology.
